【洛杉磯訊】針對近日重創委內瑞拉的強烈地震，洛杉磯縣警長局（Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department）發表聲明，向所有受災民眾表達最誠摯的慰問與支持，並向奮戰於第一線的救難人員及災後重建工作者致上最高敬意。


警長局表示，重大天然災害往往毫無預警，不僅造成生命財產損失，更讓無數家庭面臨漫長且艱鉅的重建之路。洛杉磯縣警長局與所有受到此次地震影響的民眾同在，衷心祝福災區早日恢復正常生活。

警長局呼籲，地震防災應從家庭做起，每一位居民都應與家人共同建立完善的緊急應變及聯絡計畫，包括：


* 規劃災害發生後的集合及聯絡方式；
* 預先考量停電、停水及手機通訊中斷等情況；
* 熟悉避難及家人團聚路線；
* 準備足夠的飲用水、食品、藥品及其他生活必需品；
* 建立可供家庭成員維持數天甚至數週生活所需的緊急避難物資。


警長局強調，平日做好充分準備，災難發生時便能有效降低損失，保障自己與家人的安全。
