加州好莱坞讯 — 9月8日，加州州立大学北岭分校（CSUN）中国所（China Institute）与中国校友会联合举办了获奖影片《洛桑的家事》美国首映礼，并特邀中国著名编剧芦苇先生出席映后交流活动。活动在好莱坞历史悠久的中国戏院（Chinese Theatre）隆重举行，吸引了学生、教育工作者、社区领袖、赞助商及社会各界人士参加。
此次活动既是对中国优秀电影艺术的展示，也是支持CSUN中国所教育与文化使命的一项筹款活动。中国所通过教育、学术研究和社区参与，推动中国历史、文化、语言和传统的传播与研究，并致力于促进跨文化理解、相互尊重和国际合作。此次活动还汇聚了来自CSUN校内多个学院及部门的众多领导和教师，包括人文学院、迈克尔·D·艾斯纳教育学院、大卫·纳扎里安商学与经济学院、工程与计算机科学学院、迈克·柯布艺术、媒体与传播学院、科学与数学学院、大学图书馆、大学关系与发展部以及其他校内单位。
影片《洛桑的家事》以西藏乡村为背景，讲述了一位祖父在年幼孙女因拖拉机事故严重受伤后，为其寻求公正的故事。影片通过这一感人至深的经历，探讨了责任、同情、宽恕以及正义等深刻主题。这部长达94分钟的作品曾荣获多项国际奖项和提名，包括2022年亚洲独立电影节（All Asia Independent
Film Festival）和2024年新西兰亚太电影节（New Zealand Asia
Pacific Film Festival）的认可。
芦苇先生被誉为中国最具影响力的编剧之一，其代表作品包括《霸王别姬》《活着》和《图雅的婚事》等享誉国际影坛的经典电影。其中，《霸王别姬》荣获了戛纳国际电影节最高荣誉“金棕榈奖”（Palme d’Or）。在映后交流环节中，芦苇先生分享了《洛桑的故事》的创作历程以及其独特的艺术理念，并与现场观众就影片内容、人物塑造和创作思考进行了深入交流。

CSUN China Institute Presents U.S.
Premiere of Life of Luo Sang
HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — The China Institute and the Chinese Alumni Chapter
at California State University, Northridge (CSUN) welcomed students, educators,
community leaders, sponsors, and supporters on September 8 for the U.S.
premiere of the award-winning film Life of Luo Sang and an exclusive
conversation with renowned Chinese screenwriter Wei Lu (芦苇) at the historic
Chinese Theatre in Hollywood.
The special event celebrated the richness of Chinese cinema while serving
as a fundraising initiative in support of the educational and cultural mission
of the CSUN China Institute. Through education, research, and community
engagement, the Institute advances the study of Chinese history, culture,
language, and heritage while promoting cross-cultural understanding, mutual
respect, and international collaboration. The event also brought together
numerous CSUN leaders and faculty members from across the university,
representing the College of Humanities, the Michael D. Eisner College of
Education, the David Nazarian College of Business and Economics, the College of
Engineering and Computer Science, the Mike Curb College of Arts, Media, and
Communication, the College of Science and Mathematics, the University Library,
CSUN / University Relations and Advancement, and other campus units.
Set in rural Tibet, Life of Luo Sang tells the story of a
grandfather whose young granddaughter is seriously injured in a tractor
accident. As he seeks justice on her behalf, the film explores themes of
responsibility, compassion, forgiveness, and the pursuit of justice. The
94-minute feature has received international recognition, including honors at
the All Asia Independent Film Festival (2022) and the New Zealand Asia Pacific
Film Festival (2024).
Wei Lu is widely recognized as one of China’s most accomplished
screenwriters, with credits that include the internationally acclaimed films Farewell
My Concubine, To Live, and Tuya’s Marriage. Farewell My
Concubine was awarded the prestigious Palme d’Or, the highest honor
at the Cannes Film Festival. During the post-screening discussion, Wei Lu
shared insights into the creation of Life of Luo Sang and his approach
to storytelling, followed by an engaging audience question-and-answer session.

universities in China, hosted more than 1,000 visiting scholars from China, and

encompassing student and faculty exchanges, artistic partnerships, educational

In recent years, the Institute has continued to organize Lunar New Year
celebrations, academic lectures, the Tea & Talk series and arts-related

organizations, it has also expanded the reach and impact of its cultural
